The original date for our Spring Violin Recital was Sunday, June 14. However, this is the same date as the all-MCMC concert at the Town Hall Theater. So, I am changing the date of our recital. Some students may choose to perform at the Town Hall Theater Venue as well as at our recital. Our recital will be on Sunday, May 17th at 4pm. This is a date we’d already planned for group class.
At the group class prior to our recital, students will have a chance to rehearse their pieces with piano accompaniment by Sadie Brightman if they have not yet had that opportunity. We will also practice performance etiquette for performers as well as performer-audience members, and share techniques and strategies for making performing fun and stress-free! All students, including those who normally abstain from group are encouraged to attend!

- Performance Strategy Discussions
- Mock Recital – Dress Rehearsal w/ Piano Accompaniment by Sadie Brightman
- Sunday, May 17th, 2015 @ 4 PM Violin Recital
- Group Performance of pieces: Students who have been playing a piece for a month or more may perform group pieces on the program. Group piece selections coming soon!
- Some solo performances: Students may choose play a piece they have been reviewing for at least one month.
- Sunday, June 14, 2015 @ 2 PM All-MCMC Town Hall Theater Concert (students may offer some group pieces for this concert, details tbd)
