Beethoven Prelude

Tomorrow’s prelude at Saint Stephens will be Beethoven’s Wo027 duet in C Major performed by Emily Sunderman (violin) and Gareth Cordery (cello).  This composition was originally scored for Clarinet and Bassoon and published in 1810.  There are a dozen arrangements for various instruments now on imslp.   Some scholars dispute that Beethoven wrote the piece,
