Green Mountain Suzuki Camp

While I have not attended the Green Mountain Suzuki camp in Rochester, VT,  I highly recommend attending a Suzuki camp for my students.   I attend the Suzuki Camp at Hartt School of Music, in Hartford, CT for teacher training every year and am astonished at the progress students make in one week.  Often student technique improves as much as in an entire year of Suzuki lessons.   Exposure to multiple teachers and approaches can reveal insights into playing, practicing, and performing for both students and parents. While this year it looks like the program is full (131 students!), keep the dates in mind for next year.  The Green Mountain Suzuki camp not only includes group classes, but soccer and swimming and outdoor romping in an idyllic setting.
