MCMC’s Community String Ensembles is a tuition free program that facilitates intergenerational chamber music for string players of all ages and ages. Community members from ages 5-99 are placed in small ensembles of similar playing ability and work together to explore chamber music on Friday afternoons. The string quartet is the ideal ensemble for weddings as there vast and wonderful repertoire has been written or arranged for the group of instruments and the sound, harmonies and textures emitting from this group of instruments are satisfying.
