By One of my favorite Middlebury traditions is the Messiah sing at 2pm the Sunday before Christmas the the Middlebury Congregational Church. Jeff Rehbach conducts a small orchestra and a chorus of a few hundred(!). A few superstar singers do some solos. It is relaxed. No rehearsals, the audience is mostly the chorus and the orchestra is really good! Here is a picture from the balcony of the 31st annual Middlebury Messiah Sing.
